Basewiser was founded by an engineer with years of experience across cloud infrastructure — with a deep specialism in Microsoft identity. Designing Entra ID environments, securing Microsoft 365 tenants, and helping organisations understand what their identity posture actually looks like in practice.
The pattern we kept seeing was the same: the tooling available either required sending sensitive data to external platforms, or simply didn't exist. Security capabilities that should be table stakes were either locked behind expensive SaaS licences or left entirely to manual processes.
We believe security tooling should run where your data already lives — inside your own environment, under your own control. Not phoning home. Not dependent on a vendor's uptime. Deployed once and running continuously, without you having to think about it.

Our team
Anders holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security and has over 6 years of experience designing and securing Microsoft cloud environments, specialising in Entra ID architecture and identity security across a range of industries. He has worked with organisations of varying size and complexity, helping them understand and improve their real identity posture — from initial architecture through to hands-on implementation and ongoing security hardening.
